You nailed it. I am given more tasks than others in my unit. I am always thinking about promotions and exceeding expectations and improving myself. I used to feel negative things like 'don't show them your full potential because they will take advantage' but being myself has led me to go pretty far in the agency in a short time. I'm not going to let the word choice hurt my feelings, I have to make a conscious decision to let that go. I'm on track for this promotion and there's another one coming up soon, so I'm confident if I keep doing what I do it will mean good things for me. Thanks for your input!
