that's a good point, wants2. i did that just the other day in chat, before realizing what i had done. there was someone there questioning me and it turned into a convo between the two of us almost immediately upon my entering.
i realized what had happened and apologized to the others in the room, which they were very kind. they said they were just listening and found it very interesting. i know they were just being kind
however, i appreciate your thread, because even though i realized what i had done, it happens lots and i was one of "them". hehe. i'm working on the fact that it doesn't happen again. unless, of course, there's a true crisis, and in a time like that, ppl need attn/input often immediately. however, that was not the case when i monopolized the convo. i think if someone comes in with crisis, that exceptions should and are made to allow the individual the input he or she needs. and the ppl here do that. it's wonderful.
