Presumably JacksMom knows what works for her, didn't ask for other "solutions" or to be dumped on by other people's own insecurities. If you don't want to give your name and address DON'T DO IT! But it sure doesn't make it look very safe around here to ask for what one feels one needs or to bare one's heart.

We kind of flunk the spirit of "be kind to strangers" test don't you think? A simple "welcome to PC, sorry I can't help you" would have sufficed?
