It is a hard morning. I'm numb.

I keep feeling like I need to cry, but when I try to I can't.

His wallet is on the kitchen table. It has a picture of me in it, with his driver's license.

I went to brush my teeth yesterday before going to the funeral home, and his toothbrush is in there still, as well as his deodorant and lotion. His comb is on the shelf.

Went to open the closet in their bedroom to retrieve something. His hat and jacket are still hanging on the doorknobs.

His candy is still sitting by his chair in the living room.

My mom is drinking herself further to death and is being completely selfish. I am talking to someone, the person I mentioned earlier who I will hopefully be moving in with soon. He is the only source of comfort I have in all of this. However, my mom hates it that I talk to him, for some reason.
