I think if he thought you could work he'd have said something to you. They may not even send him the form; my pdoc has never filled out anything for me for SSDI. Both the initial application and the review they only asked my therapist to fill out forms. I assume a therapist is more likely to get the paperwork back quickly. (Mine certainly is; my pdoc would do it in a session and would have to make time for that session and it would be hard).
If they do say that you are denied they will pay you through the appeals process. But I think that's unlikely. You've not exactly spent the last year sitting around talking about how bored you are and how healthy you feel all the time. Life can be better without being so good you can work.
