I did a few years ago too. I really liked my doctor though the tests were very scary. The GP wanted me tested for MS but neuro dr. told me instead that my symptoms and test results fit no diagnostic pattern and it looked like the symptoms were psychologically derived. She told me gently that frequently that is the result of having buried childhood trauma. That began my most recent therapy journey. She was right. Sometimes I want to write her a note and thank her but I can't remember her name.

Anyway best of luck with yours. I saw a pediatric one too for a while. Neurologists are nice people.
