So, I think my pdoc is a liar. (And this post is mostly for me to vent.)
I talked to my therapist about the instances where he gave poor medical advice and when he was just flat out wrong. She told me that "people make mistakes" and I said "yeah, but not 5 times in a row". Then she said "ok, that's fair. So what are you going to do?" I said "I don't know, but I'll at least use my GP in the interim."
This discussion came about immediately after I had my pdoc appointment. (I had therapist and pdoc appointments back to back today.) He had told me something that was incorrect about my Seroquel's side effects. "Feeling sick after stopping Seroquel? THat is not true." And yet, Seroquel's official website says that nausea and diarrhea are withdrawal symptoms. And then I just realized... he said before that Seroquel can cause nausea and diarrhea a few appointments ago!!! What the hell
Between that and my inability to reach him (because of his sh_tty schedule), I'm done with him. Sayonara, loser. (And that's just one of many blunders...)
Talk about totally inept!
