My mom has been placed in hospice. It is in the hospital but under the umbrella of a hospice service. They have diagnosed her with an abdominal mass with complete bowel obstruction; basically, it is probably cancer but we aren't having a biopsy done per her wishes. Doctors figure it will be perhaps a few weeks and this will be where she will be until she passes. Family are all making plans to get down to see her in the next week.
