sorry for the CAPS, it was just to emphasize and that should not be mistaken for me yelling. As far as closure, it always hurts when you lose a client regardless of gender. I have lost some male clients to the competition and when they don't give you any feedback, it's hard not to feel bad. My quality was always excellent but my prices are generally much higher than the competition and they probably left because they wanted cheaper price.

But this one client, yes I did over time develop kind of a crush on her, but I have never let her know that nor have I ever or would I ever act inappropriately. Yes I know there will be some on this board that will shame me and suggest I should only get crushes on guys, but I don't swing that way. I think clients should try to avoid getting too personal with their vendors and vise versa. My client from day one has always been not only gracious and sweet to me, but maybe a little too close as far as disclosure about her personal life and the nature. But as always, we were best of friends while on the job but after I was done, I made sure not to remain in contact. I also think she mistook my offerings to help her for finding ways to get closer. But I have also done many extra favors for all my clients regardless of gender because I know I am expensive and I wanted them to feel like they got their monies worth. So in this regards I think she mistook my favors as me trying to get closer to her which was not true. I would have done the same for anybody that was paying me a good buck.

Anyway can we all now just leave it at that and we can close this thread.
