1oxbow, what im hearing is a snapshot of what you said yourself... some good, some not so good experiences..

in town where i live, the churches assist with meals for homeless.. provide clothing and emergency services for families ... and one can always seek spiritual counseling...

my experiences have shown me that an atmosphere of good creates good... and the bad apples? is that where the politics enter?

this cant become a political debate.. its about faith and diversity imo...
