I quit smoking back in December. Last week, I smoked one cigarette because I was in a group of people smoking and it was gross and made me sick. I'm glad I quit.
Now, I'm trying to avoid alcohol and soda.
Alcohol isn't too bad to stop for me, but sometimes i want to have a drink especially when other people are drinking. I want to better my health so I don't want to drink it, but I'm also 21 and want to have fun. Alcoholism runs in my family and I don't want to end up that way. I don't see myself ever being one since i can't handle the alcohol and get sick easily now. However, i still kind of crave, but I think I just crave the relax feeling it gives me. I actually haven't had a drink for a couple weeks. Saturday i had a sip of wine for taste test.
I'm heavily addicted to soda. I know it may seem ridiculous to post about being addicted to soda, but it's addictive. I went four days but gave in and had two and I had to reset my timer on a app I got for quitting things. It's something i need to quit for health reasons.
