MRI, Cat Scan, & EKG reveal nothing.
My fear that it could occur again when I find another job. I felt so stupid at the job and they probably thought I was stupid.
Any thoughts?

my thoughts go according to what ever your own treatment providers said this was and how to fix it with in you. thats all anyone can do because here on psych central there are hundreds of thousands of people who are located all around the world. the result is there are as many reasons for this kind of thing as there are people in the world.
example in me what you posted can be any one or more of my mental and physical health problems. some show up on tests others they dont.
bottom line is if your treatment provider said it was dissociation then thats what it is in you unless your treatment provider says differently. just keep working with your treatment providers and you will soon be feeling better. dissociation is one of those things that has many different treatments and it gets better with treatment not worse. but like any other treatments it may take a bit for you and your treatment providers to find what works with you..
