I am 49 and and just started learning the different feelings that are supposed to go with emotions. This is very difficult to learn with a history of childhood sexual,physical and emotional abuse. I just know numb...... I watched a movie called Inside Out. I know this might sound silly to some but this helped me tremendously

. It explains in the simplist of terms our different feelings and emotions we express and how certain ones take over during stressful times. The main character is faced with moving away and all of her feelings and emotions start fighting one another. Loved and and wanted to share. Thx
