It is very serious!

It's often misdiagnosed. One doc had told me I had broken my foot and gave me an air cast.
The next day, I was in the ER for a very long time for lots of tests.
I had to give myself shots in my abdomen for 10 days. Some people are admitted to the hospital.

Clots can move through the circulatory system and can end up anywhere, including the lungs, brain, etc.

Not only is it very serious, the tests involved and treatment are very expensive.

Prevention is best!
