I'm feeling sad today. saw my uncle, my grandmother's brother. he was actually born in a mental hospital that my great grandmother was in and out of until finally never coming out and dying there. he opened up to me how he spent most of his life suicidal. how he strugstruggled and how he was put down for it in the family.
their father wouldn't even talk about it when she would go in and not come back for months and months. it was like it wasn't happening.
makes me sad for my uncle my family the generations of hiding and being ashamed.
it left me feeling wounded
