You're not stupid. We actually lost a job sometime ago for being acting a bit differently from other people. We were told we were very kind but we did things that the staff didn't like so we were let go. It was a bit disheartening but please don't give up wherever you are.

It's not that bad actually, just have to not do anything that would give yourselves away.
