I agree with lee. There was no actual crime committed yet, as you left before anything could happen. You did the right thing in getting out of there when you did, and I'd be thankful you didn't get hurt in anyway. Let it be a lesson learned. Don't go back to that man's house, even for a seemingly harmless garage sale.

I know you were probably very freaked out and triggered by the man and his son's behavior, and your therapist was very unsupportive about the how the whole ordeal left you feeling. I'd look toward your current T if I were you, and discuss how the interaction with the man and his son made you feel, along with your old T's reaction to it and how that made you feel as well.
