I'm confused - have you actually been officially diagnosed with schizophrenia, or was it your friend who 'diagnosed' you and so you think you might have it??

I would start with the school counsellor as others have said, or your GP. They should take you seriously and convince your parents to take you seriously too. I'm not in the U.S., but I believe that there are avenues for low cost/sliding scale MH care. A Google search might help you, or you could try posting in the insurance and money issues forum for more advice.
