There are many things which can cause hallucinations. Yes, schizophrenia is one cause, but it could also be physical conditions so it's worth getting a check up to ensure your physical health is ok. It's also important to note that it is not uncommon for hallucinations to occur 'normally' ie not due to mental illness or physical illness. This is especially the case in children and adolescents. So I really would try not to jump to the 'worst case scenario' before you've had a chance to be properly evaluated. Also, as others have mentioned, it's a really bad idea to go in to a health professional proclaiming a self-diagnosis. You may well be right but, rightly or wrongly, it tends to put their backs up. It's best to wait to hear what they have to say and then discuss whether you agree or not and why.
I also want to try to put your mind at rest about the hospital and ambulance fear. It is unlikely that will happen to you just for disclosing hallucinations. They can only forcibly hospitalise somebody who is a danger to themselves or others. So if you had suicidal or homicidal thoughts with a plan and were intending to act on that plan, then yes, they could hospitalise you. But otherwise, no.
I suggest just going and speaking to the counsellor. Tell them how it all first started, and what concerns you enough to reach out for help. There is a possibility that they might not believe you. Many people have accused me of lying for attention over the years. However, more people are believed than not, but if that happens to you, then hold on tight to your truth and find someone else who will believe you.
All the best,
