I think dry humor requires intelligence, but there are many intelligent people who are still without. Personally I most like humor when it's dry and dark! I agree - if someone really didn't appreciate mine I don't think we would get along at all.

As for therapists who are not self aware...? Like I would assume that is the most basic basic prerequisite. No wonder the profession is so problematic!
