((((( Wisewoman )))))

I have chronic pain and also go to a pain clinic. I have been thru many doctors due to a clinic having been closed, a doctor that ridiculed my description of the pain, and an unethical doctor who advised that I have electro-convulsive shock therapy to reduce the pain and not to worry about the short term memory loss. I found my first Pain Specialist at a Clinic I did not know existed and moved back to her for about 4 months before she moved to another state. I then had to choose a new doctor from a list of doctors I had not heard from. Actually, I chose a better Pain Specialist at this clinic than the one that had just moved. So, I am blessed.

Anyway, I would not turn away alternative methods of therapy as they cured my Fibromyalgia. But, I still went to a Pain Clinic for the medications that they recommended to use as a tool until the Fibro had been cured. As the alternative methods worked, my pain levels did too, which allowed me to use less medication. Maybe this is a route that would work for you, too.

I am truly interested in what methods you are choosing to follow. There are so many available that have helped so many. If you feel comfortable, write back on this post or send me a PM. It is always good to learn of other alternatives.

Be Blessed and Keeping My Fingers Crossed,
