My pdoc charges $180 for 20 minutes, but I only have a $20 copay. So from my experience, $1000 per visit seems extremely high. Even my intake session, which was the most expensive session of all, cost me $250/hr when I had a deductible.

I hope you do get a real answer because I agree that $1000 for a 20-minute session is EXTREMELY suspicious. Something isn't right, especially with two separate charges.
