Holy cow. Doc just put me on effexor today and these posts really frighten me. I have been on lexapro in the past which gave me such horrible anxiety attacks. 3 times while driving, the third time I had to call hubby to come and pick me up. That landed me in the dr's office with 4 days off from work because I just could not function. My new doc said that I can take my xanax with the effexor if needed. I know I need to try this but now am realy torn!
