We cannot respond to specific situations about how the guidelines would or would not work in the hypothetical without a member sharing specific information about the issue. That is how reporting works, as it gives us the detail needed to open a discussion about it with the team and find a resolution.

We are indeed closing this thread as it has gone horribly off-track. I would ask members not to turn a thread like this into an opportunity to personalize it (make it about them), or to use it as an opportunity to attack others. Those are definitely not in keeping with the community guidelines, and the members who've done this in this thread will be contacted via PM to discuss their conduct.
