My H and I share our home with my elderly mother. She is very active/very independent. She was very depressed living alone after my stepdad passed.
She's had a lot of medical issues; I enjoy going to her appts with her and enjoy having her at the dinner table with us each evening. We share living space, so we share time together most days.
