I feel like that all the time lol I'm not much of a cleaner. My son also causes a huge mess. He's six so I have him pick up his stuff at least but the dishes, vacuuming, laundry, etc fall to me. Right now I'm physically sick (fever, sore throat, etc) and I really want to vacuum but I just don't have the energy. Much like when I'm depressed.

When I was young my mom never ever cleaned so most of it fell to me. I was only ten so obviously I didn't keep on top of it. The living room used to get disgusting. So what I used to do is use scotch tape to create squares. Then I would clean one square at a time to avoid becoming overwhelmed. I do the same thing as an adult, minus the tape. I take it one room at a time and reward myself with frequent breaks. Christina on here oftten says to set a timer for fifteen minutes and clean for that amount of time and then take a break. I do that too.

I am glad you're feeling somewhat better! You'll be able to get your house in order soon. Try not to stress too much about it.
