I was born at 31 weeks. You are only 5 years older than I am. Even so, I was high-risk to be born then, and I would think that five years earlier you were even more fragile.
Preemie life wasn't fun, as my parents tell it: I had NEC: Necrotizing Enterocolitis, an infection of the large intestine, for one thing. Babies at 7 months did about as well as the 26 weekers do today. (I'm making a guess based on what I've heard.)
I've had intestinal problems all my life and can blame preemiehood on that. I don't see why you can't blame your preemiehood for some of your issues too.
