You raise a good question there. I don't have a good answer. From my perspective, I would say that I don't see therapy being bad for me, at least not with my current therapist. She seems well versed in trauma therapy and seems to understand I'm not ready to dig into it yet.
I can see where that could be for different people with different therapists though.
