If you're going to a medical center of any sort, there will be a few the doctor charges and a fee the treatment center charges. It's like going to the hospital. There's a few for the doc's services and a few the hospital charges.
But if your insurance company actually paid that amount, it's nuts! Regardless, you are right that things like that are what drive up the cost of healthcare and insurance premiums.
That, and Latuda costing $33/pill. I still can't get over that one.
