no evidence other than mans version of the bible cleary saying he wish he never created man since they were so evil at this point(my comprehension)...read it...at least this is most who study it for more than just faiths veiws, opinions(that it is contrary here and 115 other places)..."with historical evidence who needs faith".....there is no evidence that the world was destroyed by a flood and if it was there would be overwelming evidence in sedimentary layers "everywhere" that is unless God conveinantly erased the evidence...I know a twist to prove a flood though....not the whole world....just what men thought was the whole world at the time, and how even this has been miscomprehended but its to long to write here

Im not saying he was "sorry" for destroying the wold..he had to...he was sorry for creating man in my opinion..at the point before he destroyed it

I do believe in God..I just think the bible has be rewritten to suit mans need to control men and has been flawed along the way
