I'll tell you about a trick we use with my elderly grandmother to keep her weight up.

We make her shakes in her favorite flavors.
She is fine with dairy, so we use ice cream and milk.

Shakes can also be soy-based or based on plant protein.
You want the shakes to have lots of calories.

If all else fails, on bodybuilding.com you can look up "Weightgainers" shake. It's specifically made to gain weight.

Yu can also supplement in between meals with Glucerna or a similar type of a product.

Just a couple of ideas.
