I watch a lot of Youtube videos, and a lot of stores don't allow you to record. Even some bigger stores; I'm pretty sure Walmart and Trader Joe's don't allow you to film. Some people obviously get away with it, but I've seen lot of vloggers be asked to put their cameras away.

I agree with Divine, I don't think it's weird. Maybe he's had incidents with competition filming in the past?
