It's a normal thing for employers to do, in order to protect their interests. You have to expect that your employer is logging everything you do on their devices. You have zero privacy protections for doing personal things on company devices; computers, phones, copy machines, networks. It's all tracked, and don't assume that because you're employed by a small company that they're not doing it. The technology is dead simple and cheap to implement. Courts have upheld the right by companies to do this, so if you're doing something against your company's policies I'd suggest stopping it right away.
