Hello all,

This may be proof of the entitlement and arrogance of millennials but I am very bored at my job. Granted, it's an internship and I wasn't expecting anything. I wonder whether I am too accepting of doing boring work all day because I am over-thankful for having a job in the first place due to years of brainstorms, or if this is what people actually do.

How bored are you all at work?

I am trying to turn myself into the IT guy because I am working with a lot of databases but think things could be done faster and with less dull mindless work (mindlessness makes me very out of sorts). I am also planning on hanging out with my coworkers more to find out if they have anything to offer me.

I read an article where they said I should think of ways to help the efficiency of the company, so I'm trying to ask more questions.

Is this obnoxious of me? I don't want it to seem like I'm complaining about the boredom. Do you have any ideas for making work more interesting?

I'm also so bored that I'm looking at other jobs to apply to. (Thinking really hard about where this internship can take me.)

I am almost afraid of oversharing. But I think I'm kind of misguided in general because so far I've made all my descisions on my own, so I'll risk it. I have two jobs at my college and this internship (extends until winter). So basically I'll have 3 jobs in the fall semester, which I think is enough. Should I ditch one and find another more interesting job / internship to begin building my career in a certain field, or keep both my college jobs and prove I can hold a job for more than a year (my record, esp as I have an empty year on my resume)?

Thanks.
