I agree that the guy is being dishonest and passive-aggressive. If he has an issue with you he should bring it to you; nobody else. Unfortunately, a lot of people behave this way.

As to why they keep canceling bible study, the NBA is a poor excuse. Have you looked into any other bible studies to find something more reliable?
