Yes sleep is another area of disturbance when we binge....I too take about 14 days to start sleeping "better". I never sleep great..which is another trigger for me to drink...but I should realize that drinking makes it worse after the binge...
Yea, you pass out the first night...and sleep but after that for me its all about withdrawals..and thoughts of how to get more...and then thoughts of how I'm going to stop without horrible withdrawals...
