Mine is a clinical psychologist, and she has said she doesn't like counsellors but doesn't mind medical social workers.

I've had lecturers who are practicing counsellors and they compare themselves with social workers and psychologists.

And social workers who think social workers are the best haha.

Therapists here in my country seem to be in different camps...

My T has listened to be talk about outright harmful counsellors who've treated my friends and me badly. Psychologists, too and psychiatrists.

She agrees that there's a lot of bad Ts in the public healthcare system and in private practice and some who are good.
