I can recall one time when I was telling my therapist about how my daughter in laws therapist gave her a big bag of plastic Easter eggs filled with little toys for my grandkids... while I thought the gesture was very nice I thought maybe it was crossing a boundary. My therapist is pretty big on boundaries so I figured she would agree with me but she actually defended the therapist. She came up with some crazy excuses.. I was like for someone who is big into boundaries that came as a complete surprise.. so, yes.. she got a little defensive.
