This is a very interesting idea! I remember all the photos that I have of me. My dissociative disorder exhibits very differently than severe MPD/DID people. My alters do not have different names or at least I do not think that they do. I do not switch a lot. I do not switch in the day time or at least very rarely. I switch at night and I have to be emotionally attached to someone to switch because I was continually abused by my two year older brother and my mother during my toddler years. I have never found strange clothes in my closet. I very rarely remember lost time.

My dissociative disorder exhibits more like little blips of amnesia or memory loss rather than extreme differences in the personalities. Unfortunately for me this makes it extremely hard to get a diagnosis. Some of my ex.s could have proven that I was dissociative if they had been willing to discuss the communication that went on in the relationship. I have no intimate family or friends now so I cannot get help.
