Most of the time, I see the world in its various shades of grey, not black and white. I often marvel at how simplistically other people view it. Right, wrong, good, bad, etc. it's always more complicated than the surface makes it appear. When I'm unwell however, things become very black and white for me and since this is unusual terrain for me, it's very difficult to navigate and causes an increase to my problems and paranoia. I've yet to find anything useful when I'm unwell, something to put the world back to its shades of grey and other colors. For me it takes time and trying to look at everything from varying viewpoints. Getting the opinions of people I trust helps sometimes. People often help me see sides to things I hadn't considered. I can be stubborn at times but I pride myself in being able to see these shades of grey. Black and white is far too boring. All the truly interesting stuff comes from those grey areas. Seeing in only black and white is so frustrating to a person because it's not reality. I hope you find something helpful for you. (((Hugs)))
