Never tried one. But the way atypical antidepressants work like antidepressants is the right way, I think. It works indirectly by selective blocking, not by pumping and flooding. Flooding never works for long since your body over time becomes less sensitive. And when you stop, the insensitivity remains, creating effectively a shortage. What's more, you are psychologically weakened to deal with anxiety (same with the blocking).
Do you think you are too dependent on one or more of your meds?
