interesting idea, though i am kind of with amandalouise with this one regarding the limitations of each part/alter.
i think it would be great though if it does work and help them grow. mine don't quite work in that way. any change they have is very slow, and they also don't come to the surface (or front, i guess, is the term others use) very often. the most i can have one of them participate in is watching cartoons (from inside) and some maybe be able to feel safe holding a stuffed animal if they are scared.
i have tried to engage them in things when i feel them around, but like the rest of the others, they pretty much are around on their terms. just yesterday i could feel one of them nearby and put cartoons on, but she got bored fast.
also, you don't necessarily have to buy things school wise. you can find things online like work sheets to print off that are age appropriate. that would save money too. some libraries also might have age appropriate workbooks on school subjects.
