It's my opinion that if a doctor is prescribing meds to any "patient," s/he must be accessible to the "patient," incase the patient is having difficulties with meds or otherwise. My state requires this of M.D.s The doctor has to have 24 hour coverage, including weekends, as a requirement of their license to practice medicine in this state.

Are you sure there is no way to get in touch with him?

I hope there are some options for you. You've recently seen your pdoc, yet you are suffering and still need help!

Call him and say you need help! See what happens then.
