Has she made any suggestions about how to help you wean off the med? When I was on seroqel, I tapered down to 25mg (the smallest dose). Then I cut it in half for 1 week. Then I cut those halves in half for 1 more week. So... 6.25mg was my final dose?

Ask if your pdoc thinks it's ok to cut the tablet in half. The table says in theory that it's okay, but obviously only a pdoc will know the answer to that question. |
She thinks my liver is okay because my enzymes have come HUGELY down recently from what they used to be. I'm glad about that, but zyprexa isn't helping even so. She had been writing me smaller scripts but they only go down to 2 1/2 mg. I know you could cut those in half, as they are oval shaped and not too small.
