I never had a drop off in creativity. When I was on and off meds for 7 years, I would stay creative.
The way I have been creative has changed. I used to draw all night long listening to music when I was in high school. This continued through my time in the Army. At the last part of my service, I was literally writing on the walls of my room.
Once I got back home, I switched over to digital art. Then 3d abstract renderings.
While doing that, I was a web designer and started DJing. It took me a few years of constant practice before I was good.
Now I just DJ and have started producing breakbeat tracks and putting mixes online. I have a budding mobile DJ business. I do not create art anymore, except on rare occasions.
I think you should do creative stuff and not worry about it's worth, even to you. Eventually it should come back to you.
