Sorry to hear all of that

Abilify ultimately did not work well enough for me, but a lot of people here have said it works wonders for them. I think it's worth a try, honestly. Very different from Quetiapine and Risperidone.

Unfortunately, the best we can do (right now) is try out different medications one at a time, or do genetic testing to see which medications we metabolize the best. However, genetic testing is kind of expensive. I think at least $300 in the US? But if you have the funds and you're up for it, I say go for it. It's very useful information to have.

If your main symptom is depression, then ABilify is a good start. There's also Latuda, but I don't know what your insurance is like, as it's a rather costly med.
