if you leave the cat outside that totally defeats the purpose of having the stray. he is probably not neutered and if you leave him out every night who knows how many other little stray kittens he could be producing. also, stray cats are one of the biggest reasons for the decline in the song bird population. not to mention that feral cats left outside usually dont live longer than about 2-5 years tops. feral cats are a HUGE problem in the U.S. so if youre going to take him, take him now. Humane societies euthanize at least 2 millions cats and dogs every year. If you leave him outside, nothing good can come from that unless you neuter him first and give him all his shots. Please seriously think about that, I hate seeing people leave their cats outside because of how many problems stem from feral cats outside.
