Perhaps complex ptsd is not a disability but ptsd is. I find it hilarious that some people with complex ptsd have such an aversion to disabilities. That's kind of insulting to those who have disabilities. On the ptsd side of the coin when it comes to social security if ptsd has affected your ability to work, yeah, you have a disability. A disability is not something you recover from or overcome it's something you adapt to and manage. Good for you if your ptsd is not disabling. Don't shun us who are disabled by it. We still live productive lives. And medication makes that possible. You can't fix your adolescent brain with your adult brain. If your limbic system was damaged by trauma there's no spiritual or psychological cure for that. It's a physical problem that needs a physical solution. So irritating!
