Nobody's saying it's not a disability for you,just speaking of our own experiences.

I have PTSD but I'm sure if I applied for SSI I would be denied because I am able to function,I am able to work.Just being diagnosed with it doesn't automatically qualify me as disabled and entitled to benefits.

It's considered a disorder,not a disability,but for you it sounds like it has disabled you.

Why is it not ok with you that not everyone is disabled by it?
