You went through a lot to make it through your sisters graduation. She was going through much as well and from what you described, she needed all the help anyone could provide. Even if it wasn't always smooth, it's good that you and your family were there!
I'm sorry about your family's financial struggles. People at PC don't talk about all their money challenges that often but living on the financial edge is stressful.
